The collective is open to those within the arts community who share a common interest in 'The City'. We want to bring a broader dynamic to the collective and engage a wider audience. If interested please get in touch via our contact page.
Concrete Collective is a newly founded art and design collective made up of three MA multi-disciplinary printmakers/artists, Gen Harrison, Graham Cook and Ella Sparkes. The work is a strong mix of photographic and graphical pulled together through varying print processes with the underlying focus on the ‘The CITY’.
What is the language of a city? How does it speak to us as we journey through? How do we respond? What happens to our transit as the city transitions? What is the perception of a public space? How do people ‘own it’ and exploit its possibilities?
The Collective’s visual exploration responds to the navigation, construction, and individual interaction within a public space. The work seeks to start a conversation with the built environment and those who occupy and inhabit it.
